Muka was born and raised in the beautiful and peaceful country of Zambia, known for its kind people, lush landscapes, and natural resources. She draws inspiration from her parents, who have dedicated their lives and careers to community development and care. Muka's father is a global public health specialist for the World Bank, while her mother is an entrepreneur, women's rights lawyer, and creative. Currently, Muka is a Brand Marketing Manager and Program Coordinator, focusing on programmatic development, brand service management, and brand ambassadorship for organizations serving multicultural communities.

Muka believes that a stronger world begins with a strong sense of self. She believes that the growth and development of our global community starts with individual strength. According to her, this strength is nurtured and honed through vulnerable and open experiences with others. Muka is passionate about helping others and has had the opportunity to work for and collaborate with community-focused not-for-profit organizations that promote and create programs for learning, care, and growth. She believes that to make a braver and safer world, we must empower individual and collective development.

During her first year of college, Muka was sexually assaulted. Like many others, she didn't report the repeated incidents to the authorities or share her experiences with her loved ones. Rape is a systemic and endemic social disease that affects victims and their loved ones, who often suffer in silence for fear of shame or continued abuse.

Muka started working with non-profit organizations that focus on youth development, community empowerment, and women's rights to take charge of healing and personal growth. Muka is currently creating workforce and student development programs for multicultural high-risk communities.
